Omo, I seriously want to go back there! ): I totally miss it now lor, everyone’s so nice and so enthusiastic, and it’s really the happiest “vacation” I’ve ever been to, okay, summary for the 16 days!
14/11/09
- Arrived in Taoyuan
- Luggage collection! Got worried sick ‘cause our luggages take damn long to arrive -.- But in the end the teachers took for us so it was okay ;D
- Headed to the coach after we met with the tour guides, 小张哥 and 黑猫, temperature outside the airport was like 18 degrees? Damnnn shiok!
- At like, 5pm the sky was already pitch black lor haha, during dinner me, XY and Adelle ended up sitting with the sec 4s, but quite okay lah, since I know Ying Xiang hehe.
- Went to the hotel, met Tze Hui, our other roommate haha! She’s really nice ;D My bedroom partnerrrrrr xD
- Went to the first night market of the whole trip, some idiot banged into my shin on his motorbike -.- Me, XY and Adelle had to like link arms 'cause it was so crowded ._. Saw alot of snake meat and 臭豆腐 stalls lol.
15/11/09
- Woke up at around 0640? Not bad, didn’t feel too tired, but XY was damn groggy in the morning hahaha ._.
- Breakfast! Buffet style lol, ate a pork bun, potato wedges, frootloops (the cereal kind), a bagel and miso soup heh.
- Went to 中央大学 to look around, tried to take jumpshots with Adelle but -ahem-, chaoji phail -.- Took alot of really artistic shots haha, their school campus is quite nice [:
- 1030 - 1700 was spent at 小人国! Spent most of the time at the indoor theme park, and took the rides like 7 times each? o_O Quite fun but I screamed alot, whoops. Camera battery died so most of the pics are with Adelle and XY.
- Oh and I realised, I spent quite alot at the arcade, and on food also. Taiwan’s 珍珠奶茶 is freaking nice!!! So much better than SG’s ^_^
- Changed hotels, weather was getting really cold by then, omg. New hotel was really nice too ;D 4 beds and there was even a hot spring next to the bathroom! O:

- Exchange with Fudan High School! :D
- Was assigned to class 281 together with Crystal, Jolene and Weishan. Our buddies warned us that they’re the most zi-high class in Fudan, and when we stepped into their classroom, omg, seriously very zi-high lor!! And the guy sitting behind me was really noisy eeyer.
- The concert band people in their class performed for us and their FT (also known as 老大) gave us each a box of 太阳饼 as a welcome gift O:
- My buddies (April, Zi Shan, Li Wei, Menghan and Mingxiang) showed me around the school after that, Li Wei was being really uhhh…weird haha, he went to the storage shed and stole the janitor’s bicycle out to ride haha -.- And he actually asked whether I want to ride if my legs are tired, but seeing how he rides a bike so dangerously… omg no thankyou.
- Had lessons after that, found them quite okay, except that their normal school day ends at like…1630!! D: I can’t even survive until 1435 in SG, how can they survive until 1630?!! ._. Ohmytianz. And it can drag until like 2000, what the f—!!! D:
- After school, they brought me out to SOGO’s arcade and to eat 火锅 at Shabu Shabu :> The arcade is damn big omg, it had like one whole floor to itself! Hardly played anything though, the rest of them kept playing the driving game hahaha, but I did play the street basketball game with April ;D Supposed to be 1-1, and I don’t think I was that bad but the guys ended up helping me, and Zi Shan helped April heh. Aish. So paiseh.
- Had 麻辣锅, damn spicy T_T Felt quite shy 'cause I (still) feel very shy around guys, doesn’t matter if they’re younger, same age or older (except for my dad, and those I know really really well), so I hardly talked and concentrated on cooking all the stuff first, but then they started asking me all sorts of questions haha, like how’s life in NYGH and everything, and it became quite fun after awhile :D But I couldn’t answer the BGR questions 'cause it’s really too paiseh -.- Then they made this conclusion that SG guys are totally not 主动 enough, omg true! :x
- End of dinner, they started to put all the leftover ingredients into one pot, INCLUDING ice-cream, and all sorts of…really really weird stuff ._. Then they had this game (which thankfully I didn’t participate in, yay :D) where they made the loser drink the concoction haha :x Hilarious xD 'Cause Menghan kept losing HAHAHAH o_O
- Huge traffic jam on the way back to the hotel gah :/ Talked to them in April’s mom’s car about my interests and stuff, turns out April plays violin too :x And we started at the same age!! O: Arrived late at the hotel, didn’t get too screwed by the teachers so it’s okay ;D Had to pee really badly anyway, so I guess that’s why haha. Oops.
- Was damn tired by the time I got back to the room, so I kept losing to Adelle and Tze Hui when playing “Stress” ): Ended up with half the deck and XY laughing her head off at me D:
17/11/09
- Ponned History lesson with our buddies to go and play basketball haha, Jolene was totally envied by the girls 'cause 1) she’s tall 2) she can shoot (the ball) really well xD She lent me her furry neon green jacket because I was seriously freezing to death, aww - Started raining really heavily, it’s a wonder the Fudan people don’t feel cold at all! The guys could even play basketball in the rain in that weather, with only their bball jerseys o_O Guess they’re used to it, and the main reason they brought us out anyway was because ehh… some of us were falling asleep in class, heh :x
- Something really paiseh happened during Physics :x Shall not mention it here haha but really really very embarrassing, zomg ._.
- Had 晚会 at night :D Quite fun, the performances were really really cool! There were two rock bands, and the second vocalist really looks like Aaron from Fahrenheit :x XY was being damn funny during the magic show, lol, 'cause this girl from the magicians’ society went to “pull” flowers out of mine and Adelle’s hair, then XY kept going “我知道花藏在你的手掌里!!~” Then the girl just completely dao-ed her and she was so annoyed xD

- They had swimming lessons haha (although less than half the class took part o_O). So we played this game that involves sitting on each other if you lose (girls only duh). OMG 2nd round I was the first one to lose, so I had to be sat on by at least 15 people ):
- Went to Stepping Stone bookstore after lunch together with XY, Crystal, Weishan, Jolene and the rest of the people who’s classes had exams haha. Bought a hell lot of stuff ZOMG:
- ViVi Magazine (In chinese of course, but still good, they even have detox exercises for you to do to slim uhhhh…certain body parts? Hehe. :>)
- S Cawaii Magazine (not as good as ViVi, but passable)
- 2010 Planner (Super cute, and it’s really cheap too, plus there’s special pages for you to paste photos and stuff, and it has so many pages I don’t know what to use it for o:)
- Cards (Thank-you cards for the Fudan buddies mostly haha, really unique though, should have gotten more, they’re all under SG 50 cents but still really pretty!)
- Homework File (If you think this is like the super bulky and fugly sort you get in SG, that’s where you’re totally wrongggggg. It’s so cute I really don’t feel like using it as a homework file - considering how fast my homework files die every year - and the dividers are freaking chio! Not like the paper kind, the plastic kind!! Only problem is, the file’s slightly under A4 size so I may not be able to use as a homework file after all, maybe for notes though.)
- Letter-writing Paper (Weiyu dearest you better be grateful for this 'cause I specially bought to write to you one okay!)
- Hair-tie with Polka-dotted bow (Okay this was seriously spur of the moment, but I don’t regret it, 'cause it’s so cute!)
- 2 White Bangles + 1 Black with white polka-dots wristband (Again spur of the moment haha, the bangles are abit too large for my hands though -.-)
- Pocket Mirror (Hahaha bought together with Adelle the second time we went there, decided to get 'cause it’s really convenient, and also 'cause that seems to be the trend in Taiwan? Lol, and it’s only SGD $1.00!! O: Singapore can’t even find so cheap and pretty one okay!)
- Talking about mirrors, there was one whole shelf full of them o: Even in Fudan, everyone in 281 carries a mirror around, under the table and all over the place to check their hair during lessons o_O So 爱美 haha! But the mirrors are seriously damn cute o: XY bought the one with the elephant on it? Haha, Adelle and I just got plain black ones with glitter bits on it, not so AA, teehee xp
- Went back to Fudan after that, slept in the library, soooo shiok after waking up at like 0500 every morning lor xp Could hear Weishan teasing me about someone (can’t remember who), but I thought I was dreaming haha :x Oops.
19/11/09
- Last day at Fudan ):
- I felt quite bad after receiving so many cards and presents from them, compared to the time in July when they came to our school for exchange, it’s like, we didn’t really do anything for them T_T
- Had a halfday only in the school, camwhored alot with the girls heheh :D Youshan is really damn cute haha, she keeps going “我要抱抱!” She hugged me like 10 times that day lol ._.
- Gave my buddies their gifts, took class photo with 281, and went to find their FT to pass him the card. 281 gave us a super huge card with their mesages lor, so sweet! o:
- When we left they were all like, “再见姐姐们!” Someone was really cute and saluted and winked at me HAHAHAHA xp
- Went to some memorial park after that, can’t remember much though, except that it was pretty boring :x

- Went to 台中’s Earthquake Museum, ehhh, not very boring, but not very interesting either :x I’m not really into all the Geog stuff, so I guess that’s why.

- Creative writing lessons, siannnnz. Omg, not that I minded the activities part, but 8 hours non-stop of lessons seriously killed me, sleepy enough as I was already. ):
- Ate cup noodles at night 'cause dinner sucked, eh, not bad leh xD Zi-highing with roommates is always the best time of the day

- Lessons in the morning, aish.
- FREE TIME FOR SHOPPINGGGGG! :D Went to this Hello Kitty HQ store, omg everything inside was soooo cute, but really really expensive ): In the end, only got stickers for like NTD$180 (around SGD $8 :x) Wanted to get new contact lens casing but very not worth it, so expensive! T_T
- No photography allowed inside the store though, although I did managed to get 1 or 2 pics before I read the bloody sign, still, can’t post, so I shall just post the one we took outside the store :D
- Went to SOGO at night, veryyyyy 自卑, everything there was branded! D: Only got mints haha, chocolate mints -.- Lol, I spend my moolah in the weirdest ways o_o
- Dinner was really really good though, went to some…eh, Japanese restaurant? o: Can’t remember if it’s Japanese, all I know is that XY and Adelle had some omelette rice thing, and I just had some appetiser fried chicken, with mushroom clam chowder soup, heavenly. The soup was really creamy, and had just the right texture, not to thick, not to watery either, and the clammy and mushroom bits just made it all yummy that I was really sad when I finished it, no joke :x
- Oh and the really funny part was when Adelle and XY had this alcoholic palate cleanser thing before the main course, I think it’s sweet sherry? Haha, anyway, they totally couldn’t tahan the tiniest sip, but I managed to do a one-shot…TWICE. ('Cause I finished both of theirs xD) And after that they were staring at me like o_o I didn’t think it was that bad though, just a little sharp? TSK, I’m an alcoholic in the making! xp
- Dessert was sooo yummy, we had some free redbean and green-tea flavoured dessert, the milk pudding kind, and although I’m not a big fan of red bean, I actually finished it ;D Yay me! Oh, our real dessert that we ordered though, was mango pudding, which was quite scrummy, except the mango bit was a little sour :x

- Went to 陽明山, it was raining pretty heavily though, so we didn’t get to see much :/ BUT, we were really really lucky, because we got to see a hugeass rainbow! A really really pretty one! :D And the thing that made it really pretty was because it was really foggy and suddenly the skies cleared and we saw the rainbow! o: Sooooooo cool.
- 西門町 for shopping!! o: The Harajuku of Taiwan! ^_^ Didn’t get much though, since we -ahem- spent too much time in the stupid hidden department store where only XY could get stuff ._. Bleargh, was so jealous when I saw everyone else with so much stuff lor ): Crystal said they bought shoes for really cheap prices! T_T Sadded. We did take neoprints though, and Adelle and I got the couple necklace thing, teehee. Sadly, that was all we got from there ):

- Lessons in the morning again, but this time it isn’t as boring, yay! :D
- Went to 淡水, saw the school where Jay Chou filmed “Secret”, ohmytianz, their school uniform is soooo chio! O: Why can’t SG’s uniforms be as chio! ):
- Aletheia University, I don’t even know why we went there, lolz.
- Went to some fisherman’s key to watch the sunset! o: Sooooo pretty, ohmygosh. I was totally awed by it.

- Yet another university -.-
- Went to the 故宫博物馆, not say very interesting except for the crystal that looks like a piece of 3-layer pork hahahaha ._. I’m fascinated by weird stuff -.-
- Visited some high school, couldn’t stand it for certain reasons I shall not mention.
- Fine Arts Museum (which isn’t very fine-artsy if you ask me), and on to the Storyhouse!! Storyhouse was really cute 'cause it’s like this house specially built for a story project thing, and it’s teeny! o:
- 士林 garden , saw this really cute pig that someone owned (as a pet!), heheh and it isn’t smelly at all, in fact it was so fragant Adelle kept touching it to get the smell (free “eau de pig” HAHA) on her hands xp
- Headed for 士林夜市! ~~~~ So super crowded lol ._. BUT nevermindz, I spent money haha! On like bling ._. Oh, and this super chio hoodie which is like only SGD $15 :D Was going broke by then already, bought some 小吃s along the way (a donut, some fried chicken thing, 珍珠奶茶) and ate some really nice 蛋煎 thing with XY and Adelle ^_^

- Taipei zoo! Went to see 团团 and 圆圆, the pandas :D Soo cute! Except that only 团团 was awake, and they’re kept in separate enclosures. He/she was doing super cute stuff like dancing against the wall and everything, heheh. Only had 1 hour in the zoo though, stoopid -.-
- Taipei 101 :D The only thing I liked was the lift though, damn cool, the whole lift like gets dark and all the constellations show on the ceiling! 88th floor was the coolest though, darkkkk. And more constellations heheh. Oh btw, Taipei 101 doesn’t have 101 floors, only 91. It’s just 101m tall that’s why it’s called Taipei 101, lol.
- Yet another night market, zzzzzzzz. Totally broke, couldn’t get anything except for a tank top which cost NTD $100. Oh oh I met Yuting from KCP there! o: So coincidental haha! This one was totally boring though, as in the night market, and a bit creepy too :x

- JS’ birthday hahaha, sent him a text lol yay :D
- Went to some bookstore (again -.-), Lihan bought a magazine with all the K-pop stuff! T_T So sad I was like broke ): Completely.
- Miniatures museum, this was just so cuteeeeee :D All the miniatures had this passport stamp thing you can stamp in and keep as a souvenir, oh yes, and they showed all the Disney fairytales too! :D
- Ate 火锅 for lunch yipee :D The person sharing with me was totally weird though, she refused to eat and totally overcooked the pork -.- And I had to throw it away since it’s not edible, stupid waste food person ):
