I know this is the wrong time to get addicted to K-dramas, but people, go watch 미남이시네요 (You’re Beautiful) after you’re done with EOYs!! :D
And I’m not saying this ‘cause Lee Hongki is starring in it. Let me give you 3 good reasons to watch this!
1) Unique storyline
Unlike all the recent K-dramas such as BOF, all of which have all too familiar plots, this isn’t your regular boy-meets girl love drama. It’s about the behind-the-scenes life of a boyband, A.N.Jell. And it involves cross-dressing too for a change, but if you’re thinking along the lines of Hana Kimi (Taiwan version), that’s where you’re wrong. I shall not reveal anymore, go read the synopsis here and watch the drama!
2) Hongki plays drums?!!
If you’re a Primadonna, you’ll have recognised Jeremy, the blond drummer (played by Lee Hongki) as the lead vocalist from FT Island, and if you want to see him as a Minhwan roleplay, all the more reason to watch this. Plus, he’s totally got the American charisma down in his acting chops yo!
3) Music fan?
Other than portraying the struggles of getting into the music industry, this drama also has an excellent soundtrack (OST), want further proof? Check out the stats here!
